National Self-Care Month
Announcements: Welcome Back to School! A few reminders:
COVID-19 cases have been increasing. If you have new symptoms that could be COVID 19 related, we recommend testing.
We have COVID 19 tests available in the Health Office
For Positive tests, students are able to return to school on Day 6 as long as symptoms are improving and they have been fever free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medicine.
Masks are recommended for 10 days if tested positive or are a close contact of someone who has tested positive.
“Self-care is anything that we kind of deliberately do or refrain from doing with our own well-being in mind, anything that promotes our own physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual well-being. It doesn’t really have to be more complicated than that” -Dr. Matthew Saco, PsyD, psychologist for Cleavland Clinic
“…it’s the oxygen mask on the airplane analogy. They tell you that when you get on, you got to put it on yourself first, before you help others,” -Dr. Sacco.
